Al Wakra striker Waleed Hamza on Friday signed a deal with Qatar
Stars League (QSL) champions Al Gharafa.
Long-haired Hamza last year had moved to Al Wakra after spending 12
seasons at Al Arabi.
He partnered high-scoring striker Younis Mahmood with limited results.
Hamza was awarded the Asian Young Footballer of the Year by the Asian
Football Confederation (AFC) in 1999.
The 30-year-old played at 2004 AFC Asian Cup.
Hamza played for Qatar at the 1999 FIFA U-17 World Championship in New Zealand.
He played 37 times for the Qatar national team scoring 9 goals.
