TIME RUNNING OUT FOR TEAMS TO BUY

THE transfer window will close shut tomorrow, bringing the end to what has been a busy month for clubs in the Qatar Stars League. A host of new faces have arrived in the last few weeks to boost the quality in the league, while a number of players have also left.

Al Gharafa have unquestionably been the team doing most business with Brazilian star Nene arriving from Paris Saint-Germain and French striker Djibril Cisse joining on-loan from QPR until the end of the season.

To off-set those moves, Samba star Alex moved in the opposite direction as his time in Qatar came to an end. Al Rayyan were also busy as they attempt to consolidate their Asian Champions League spot, bringing in Alvaro Fernandez from Chicago Fire until the end of the season.

Al Khor signed Bruno Mineiro while Al Wakrah snapped up Moroccan Nabil Daoudi to assist with their league campaign. El Jaish signed South Korean star Go Seul-Ki on a two-year deal from Ulsan Hyundai.

Current champions finally saw the arrival of Tunisian star Youssef Msakni with Al Wakrah striker Younis Mahmoud completed a highly-publicized switch to Al Sadd.

For every player that signs there are always players who leave, with Qusay Munir (Qatar), Hassan Abdel Fattah (Firth), Mourad Meghni (Lekhwiya), Dorde Rakic and Brazilian ( both Gharafa) saying goodbye to QSL.
